Mason Driving His Car

Can you get collision insurance for a 3 year old? Well if so I might need to look into that. Half the fun is running into stuff for him. He is getting better at it he keeps practicing.

Mason Turns 3!!!

Mason turned 3 on August 2nd we had a party for him at the park . He had a good time I made his cake (dirt track car racing cake) Well I did the best I could. He got lots of gifts a bicycle as seen in picture a power wheels race car new nike shoes clothes a Buzz Lightyear on a cycle, lots of hot wheel cars. We played pin the tail on the donkey and I served hamburgers for lunch . We took the heat as long as we could and on the way home I looked back and the birthday boy was sound asleep.

Where is Mason?

We recently went with my best friend Rachel over to a cookout at some friends of theirs and Mason disappeared so I went looking for him and found him sliding down the staircase and just having a blast....I had to get a video of this to justify to CPS in case they questioned the carpet burns on his belly....lol...he would get to the bottom and say ouch!!!
Never a dull moment.

Mason"s Family Reunion

The last part of July I took Mason to his great grandmother's side of the family's reunion at Lake Jacksonville it was the first time that many of the family members had ever seen him. They had a clown there that made balloon animals ...Mason gave her a workout...he asked her for a SpongeBob but we only got a monkey...lol ....He is sitting with his little cousin Abby playing with his Buzz Lightyear.....we had to bring an item to auction so I brought one of the purses that I have been making and it auctioned for $60 it was the highest bidded on item there....I had also made a small Dallas Cowboy toddler quilt that went for $55....it made me feel good at the response from the bidders. It was a fun day and Mason did not want to get out of the lake he loves the water.

Tiffany turns 11!!!!!

Another year older Tiffany turned 11 this year!!! She will be starting 6th grade this year. I can't believe how time goes by so fast!!!

Mason Water Sliding

Mason loves the water we recently went to a birthday party next door and he had a blast. It will soon be Tiffany's 11th birthday and Mason's 3rd WOW they are growing up too fast!

Keeping Mason Occupied While Traveling 640 Miles!

Yes 640 miles is how far it is to my sister's. Mason and I took a trip to Missouri for Mother's Day to see my sister and her family we had a great time . It has been almost 4 years since I had been there so it was a trip that was way overdue. Mason did very well for an almost 3 year old and he did even better on the way home. He watched movies on the laptop for most of the way...thank you to the person who invented to outlet adapter that plugs into the cigarette lighter in the car so that we could plug the laptop in.

Bubbles Everywhere!!!

Mason has a fascination with bubbles he just can't get enough of them. We have to buy the huge economy bottles to satisfy this hobby!!! He also likes sidewalk painting and loves to paint more than the sidewalk, his last victim was the neighbors dog little boy, sorry Aunt Frances she had to give little boy a bath.

Visit with Grandaddy!

We went to visit my dad recently. That is the only way he ever gets to see Mason. He has seen him about 15 times in almost 3 years. No World's Best Grandpa T-shirt for him. And we live in the same town. It really hurts my feelings sometimes that he would let his wife stand in the way of his only grandchildren. His loss I guess he has two wonderful grandchildren that live in the same town as him and he doesn't even bother to try and see them. Mason cried when we left that day I wonder if it broke his heart like it did mine. Mason and Tiffany don't have any grandparents on my side of the family.

On Vacation????

Well I have finally had all I can take of my previous employment. So now I am on vacation I guess?? I am doing some sewing for some people and even some for me so if anyone needs anything in that department let me know. I also added a new machine to my collection . I have been waiting for 3 years to get a monogramming sewing machine and I finally got a terrific deal on one so now I can monogram names on things so it has been fun learning how to operate this hi tech computerized sewing machine.

Friday I drove up in the driveway after work to find that someone had mowed the grass . I have not been able to do it since I had the surgery on my elbow and it was just getting higher and higher. Thanks a bunch Uncle Kenny!!! I will bring chicken and dumplings over for you tomorrow. See sis my tags are up to date...lol!!

Bunny Fever!!!!!!

Tiffany finally talked her daddy into another bunny. She worked on him for several weeks and he gave in so she has another pet. I am allergic to rabbits I took a few pictures and I did pet it but after about 20 minutes in the room with it my eye started to swell up and I started sneezing and I had to go outside to get away after several hours my eye was finally back to normal. She loves her bunny ,she named it Thumper !!! How original!!!!!!

Tiffany's new pet

Tiffany has a new pet a chocolate lab. She named him Job!! I hope he has the patience of Job. Tiffany just loves animals. She also talked her daddy into a black rabbit from Tractor Supply on Wednesday. I don't think she has come up with a name for it yet and she is convinced it is a girl bunny. She has started softball and that keeps her busy . She is ready for summer. She is growing up so fast and I believe she is finally starting to like her brother. This weekend they played and played together . Mason just loves her so much and he asks for her all the time.

Motorcycle Mason

Mason is a big motorcycle fan I think he can even tell the difference between a Harley and a Honda. I am convinced he gets this from the Morgan side of the family. We were at a gas station the other day and Mason heard the motor of this Harley and started looking for it so I took him out of the car to see the man driving away and the man saw Mason and turned around and let Mason sit on it while it was running I thought he would be scared of it ....well he wasn't the man revved up the motor and Mason just smiled even bigger. That made his day!!!!

Well we are home from the hospital and recovering well. It has been a rough couple of days but he is a trooper.
